Stavros Vouros

Post-Doctoral Researcher in “Energy and Environmental Engineering” within the Future Energy Center of the Department of Automation in Energy and Environment of Mälardalen University (Sweden). PhD on the “Aeroacoustic Simulation of Rotorcraft Propulsion Systems” from Cranfield University (UK). Five-year Engineering Diploma (Dipl.-Ing.) from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Greece), focused on turbomachinery and propulsion. More than six years of experience in academic and institutional research within industrial and EU-funded research projects. Scientific interests include applied heat transfer, computational aeroacoustics, flight mechanics, aerodynamics, gas turbine performance, experimental fluid mechanics, optimization, control, mathematical programming, modelling and simulation.
